The Knicks played well throughout the entire content, earning a lead as high as 11 points during the contest. However, they collapsed in the fourth quarter as the Pacers made a successful comeback attempt. Pascal Siakam tied the game up with 1:08 remaining after nailing a 3PT Jumpshot. Roughly 40 seconds later, Aaron Nesmith converted another three to take the lead.

That was one major area the Pacers performed much better – 3PT Shots. They successfully converted half of their three-point attempts, while the Knicks only converted a third. Furthermore, Indiana earned more steals, more point off turnovers and converted more free throws despite a smaller TOP.

In terms of player performances, Pascal Siakam earns the game ball here. His 27 points and 13 rebounds propelled the Pacers to tie the series. Furthermore, Haliburton also showed up, scoring 26 points while earning 11 assists. Myles Turner also had a solid day, earning 17 points, 11 rebounds, 2 steals, a block, and all while successfully converting all three of hiss 3PT attempts.

As for the Knicks, Jalen Brunson led the team in total points (40). However, he only converted 1 of 7 three point attempts, some of which could’ve helped NY put this game to rest. With the loss, the Knicks lose a critical 2-0 series lead. With the momentum shifting in the Pacers’ favor, New York needs to make adjustments if they want to advance. Furthermore, they’ll want to win as fast as possible if they want to keep players healthy and ready for the Conference Finals.

In terms of accuracy, we feel the final scoreboard feels pretty accurate. We’ve tried to adjust our CPU Sliders to create more accurate shot conversion percentages, and prevent high-scoring affairs. The only problem we still seem to be working on is creating accurate, up-to-date rosters. Trying to create a custom roster usually leads to our game crashing, or very weird glitches.

Regardless, we had a blast watching this simulation. And we’ll continue to strive towards creating more enjoyable and accurate simulations.
