2025 Washington (Okla.) standout Nate Roberts is one of the best tight ends in the country and is narrowing his focus on the recruiting trail.
On Monday, the four-star recruit announced a top five and the Oregon Ducks made the cut.
I would like to thank each school who has recruited me to this point. I will always be grateful for those opportunities, and for those relationships. From this point forward I will focus on my Top 5: pic.twitter.com/F96Zue8i3h

The Ducks get the fourth of his five scheduled official visits, which is a great spot to be in for Oregon tight ends coach Drew Mehringer. Ohio State and Oklahoma are the other two schools that are worth noting, as the Buckeyes are the 247Sports Crystal Ball favorite, receiving picks from Loy as well as Director of Recruiting Steve Wiltfong.
The Buckeyes have the No. 4 class (according to 247Sports), while head coach Brent Venables and the Sooners will do what they can to keep the top Oklahoma players in state.
As a junior in 2023 Roberts caught 38 passes for 816 receiving yards and 8 touchdowns. He was most recently in Eugene at the start of February to see the Ducks on a visit.
He's one of three tight ends Oregon is actively recruiting in 2025 along with Linkon Cure (Goodland, KS) and Da'Sahn Brame (Derby, KS).
