The college basketball transfer portal is out in full force, and relatively unsurprisingly, coach Matt McMahon and the Tigers have been in on some of the best players in the country. Most recently, LSU was reported to be in contact with former Saint Louis forward Bradley Ezewiro, who formerly signed with the purple and gold as a part of the class of 2021.
What a time to be a fan of college athletics. Not long ago, the expectation for players around the country was that they would likely stick with a program throughout their entire college career.
However, with the recent boom of the transfer portal, it’s almost expected that players will attend at least two schools before their time at this level comes to an end.
In rare cases, though, you may even see a player attend three or four different schools, and this appears to be exactly the case for former Saint Louis forward Bradley Ezewiro.
After beginning his collegiate career with LSU as a part of the class of 2021, the 6-foot-9, 265-pound big man showed flashes, but struggled to find consistent playing time. In just seven appearances, he recorded 1.6 points, 0.9 rebounds and 0.1 blocks per game.

In turn, he elected for a change of pace and transferred to Georgetown for his sophomore year. Then, just one year later, he was once again in the transfer portal and spent his junior season with the Billikens of Saint Louis.
Finally, after quite the journeyman career at the college level of basketball, Ezewiro will enter the transfer portal for a third time ahead of his senior season.
Interestingly enough, despite being in the transfer portal for a third time in as many years, there’s still a chance that the Torrance, CA, product still only attends three schools over the course of his four years. He technically still has the option to return to Saint Louis, but it was also reported earlier this afternoon that coach Matt McMahon and the Tigers are among the early programs to show interest.
St. Louis forward Bradley Ezewiro officially entered the transfer portal earlier today.
Since then, he has received interest from the following programs:
LSU
Georgia Tech
USC
Minnesota
Grand Canyon
Temple
Towson
UAB pic.twitter.com/RYTx7sECcu— The Portal Report (@ThePortalReport) April 15, 2024
This is notable, especially when you consider this is a completely different LSU basketball program than the one he left following his freshman season. When he entered the portal for the first time, it came shortly following the firing of former head coach Will Wade.
If he enjoyed his time in Baton Rouge and is interested in the current trajectory of the purple and gold under coach Matt McMahon, don’t be surprised to see Bradley Ezewiro give the Tigers a strong look yet again. For now, it looks like the main competition for the talented forward includes Georgia Tech, Minnesota, UAB and USC.
